An online article concerning a past arrest is negatively affecting my ability to find work, housing and childcare for my daughter. Although my record is clean, the article can be found by simply googleing my name. I ahave emailed the company requesting it to be removed and they denied my request. What are my options, do I have any legal rights to having it removed?

If they decline or just ignore you, you might want to consult with an attorney and see if there are any grounds to bring a suit. You could benefit from meeting with an attorney to discuss further. Even if you decide not to hire the attorney the consultation with him or her could help you to understand the issues and your options. Many attorneys offer a free consultation.

But, you can remove your full name from google search results.
